Birmingham Care GroupBirmingham Care Group, registered charity no.1149682 (www.birminghamcaregroup.com)

The Birmingham Care Group (BCG) are a registered Charity created to support the Service Users and Providers across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
We offer a range of activities designed to meet the needs of our elderly citizens within our community and vulnerable adults.

We welcome those who wish to attend the drop in but are not quite ready to participate in the activities. Our experienced staff and volunteers are there to encourage and support all service users to develop their health and well being and promote social interaction.

We continually seek funding and welcome any Investors who can assist with the progression of this project.

Transport can be arranged as a return journey, contact the admin team for further details.

We work closely with the Birmingham Care Consortium and its members that allows us to source relevant bodies to support both service users and their providers.
We provide drop in facilities at Parklands on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 10:00 - 14:00.

Fit4Fun LogoFit4Fun, registered charity no. 1159267 (www.fit4funbirmingham.co.uk)

Fit4Fun works with young people within the deprived areas of Birmingham. Our aim is to increase healthy living and sports participation. These activities are carried out through holiday sports camps, after school clubs and weekend sessions. Our fully qualified coaches cover all major sports. Fit4Fun provide these services to all organisations wishing to host a sporting activity.

Through our organisation we will enable vulnerable and hard to reach young people a chance to be children again by encouraging resilience and providing cognitive programmes that challenge their behaviour and thinking.

At present we coach a number of young people in basketball. Through this interaction and communication we have with them we identified there was a need for this project. We carried out research within the chosen areas to identify the level of need for our project. We also had meetings with Coaches from within the basketball sector. We asked them for feedback on their experiences working with these groups of young people.
